MOSS GARDENS

Even in the dead of winter, this garden is still beautiful. My mom and I were inspired by the mori girl aesthetic when we shot and styled this. Mori girl means forest girl in Japanese...we had so much fun looking at Japanese magazines for inspiration. I was happy to bust out these Celine platform sandals, they haven't been worn since this summer.

Check jacket is from the thrifstore, dress and scarf from a previous trip to Japan, fur collar from the thriftstore, socks from J. Crew and Hue, sandals by Celine (similar pair by Chloe here)

Nail polish is from Julep in Amy and Susie!

MOD SQUAD

A lot of people have told me they are not fans of these Chanel boots, which is funny to me because they are among my very favorites. I got them on sale after falling in love with them. They're so Pierre Cardin, a retro vision of the future!! I will find it hard not to wear these every day...very sorry to the people who don't like them ;)

I have some major lashes on today. Wearing top and bottom sets to compliment the nod to sixties mod! I have a new obsession with Japanese false eyelashes.

Sorry for the slow down in updates, it has been a busy holiday season for us! My mom and I shot this before Christmas...it was a little too macabre to publish just before the happiest day of the year. Haha...somehow it took on a very American Horror Story feel with the creepy white-washed background.
