FANTASY PANTS
These pants aren't real but it would be cool if they were. I designed them in Photoshop by splicing Henri Rosseau's Tropical Forest with Monkeys painting onto Goldsign's Frontier skinny jeans.

These photos are from a shoot I did with my friend Fabian Guerrero a few weeks back. I love his photography, and I love the grit and darkness in these. So glad to be able to share them, thank you Fabian!

I'm wearing a t-shirt by one of my favorite artists, Justin Wallis, the incredibly talented creator of the MILKBBI universe! I have been following his work on Tumblr for a very long time...his talent is mind blowing and his vision is so extraordinary! The print shown in the background of this picture is one of my favorites of his. I am so happy to have a piece of his work. Take a look through his website, you will get lost in his candyland world :)
Justin has told me he is sold out of this t-shirt for the moment, but says he is working on some exciting new things for his next collection, so stay tuned! I know I can't wait to see!!
I put on a cosplay wig to look more MILKBBI-ish ;) ♥ I want to transport myself into one of Justin's pictures!

Chanel Resort 2013...more like Chanel Resort 3013....it is like Marie Aintoinette in a cyber future anime...so amazing!
Happy Saturday, everyone! Hope you had a good week. I've been busy working on some projects and fighting off a clingy cold...hopefully it's on its way out. Below are a few of the highlights of a busy week.

The beach sweater got here a few days ago! I love it so much!

As you can see, I am going quietly mad in my sick bed. You know what that means...online window shopping!! Net-a-porter, stop breaking my heart.

1. Philip Lim cotton twill jacket
2. Meredith Wendell tassled drawstring shoulder bag
3. Current/Elliot cropped tie-dye print skinny jeans
4. Martin Margiela python ankle boots
5. Dolce & Gabbana lace-insert patent leather sandals
6. Alaia studded suede sandals
7. Rochas mint green platform sandals

I am playing guest editor over at Shoescribe this month, and in honor of their film theme, this shoot was inspired by one of my favorite movies, Picnic At Hanging Rock (1976). It is a haunting turn-of-the-century mystery set at a girl's boarding school in Australia. One of the many 'haunted little girl' movies that came out during that time. Highly reccomended! It takes place in the Australian outback and the scenery is stunning.
These patent Rochas granny booties got me thinking in this direction--they are some of my favorites! So stubbornly unmodern. The dress is a silk 70's number I picked up sometime back.

I picked up this beautifully done book on the brilliant Celia Birtwell at Half Price the other day...it is an amazing retrospective of her life and work, with a delightful sprinkling of personal stories and insights from Celia. Definitely worth picking up for any vintage or textile enthusiast! I scanned some images from my copy to share with you.

Absolutely love her whimsical illustrative style!

Excited to show off the windows I designed for the historic flagship Neiman Marcus! I love being at the downtown Neimans, it has an atmoshere like no other and represents everything that Neimans has come to stand for. I am so impressed with what the Neimans team did!

The launch party was such a fun time, thank you so much to those who came out! Had so much fun seeing my friends and meeting new ones. These photos come courtesy of the lovely Stephanie and Erin. The shot of Steph swirling around in the bridal salon is everything.

I spent some time this week having some fun-thrifting, toy shopping, doodling, and working on an extremely exciting hair-related project. I'm headed to the Songbird Society for (another) hair experiment, can't wait to show you guys!!
