Cheap Thrills etc

I found this vintage shirt at Cheap Thrills in Tulsa, Oklahoma over the weekend.

It is one of MANY incredible things I found at this store, so expect to see more soon. That store alone made our whole trip to Tulsa worthwhile!

I love the playful jagged tiers on the sleeves and waist...the psychedelic colors and pattern are spellbinding.

Aww, Shelley...

Speaking of artful clothes...

The jacket I'm painting is coming along, slowly but surely...

But, oh SO slowly...

I'm having so much fun painting this, so I'm glad it will take me a long time to finish it! Very gratifying and relaxing.

I have to share these pictures from yesterday!

I was having a few friends over for dinner and I asked my mom if she could make a quick pot of curry.

Instead she and my younger sister Carol whipped up an amazing three-bean chili with two kind of biscotti for dessert!

And look at the beautiful table setting they did...aww!

Thank you so much Mom & Carol...your hard work did not go unrelished ;)
