KOOS PART TWO

I was super excited when Kerry from Archive Vintage told me she had a coat to go with the Koos van den Akker dress I got the other day. It came in the mail this weekend....pretty incredible. (Sorry I mispelled Koos in my last post!)

Worn with vintage fur hat, BCBG Mendel booties, socks from Anthropologie, and Levi's jeans.

I had to try it with my Ann Demeulemeester triple-lace burgundy boots too.

I pinned a Hanna Bernhard puffin on the coat.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this dress and these boots were made for each other...

KOOS KOOS KOOS

This Koos Van Dan Akker wrap dress came from Archive Vintage...I spotted it at V.O.D. while setting up for the trunk show and had to get it. I am a huge, huge fan of Koos...but prior to this dress I only had one piece of Koos. So I was extremely happy to find the dress.

Worn with the Chanel satin patent cap toe pumps I got as a gift from Chanel when I had my fitting for my gown. I worship these shoes...

The cameo necklace is vintage Nettie Rosenstein.

Very excited to share my Koos!

Time for me to go-I've got apple cinnamon muffins in the oven. I've been working on them all night...the recipe said the prep time would be 20 minutes but it was more like 2 hours in my experience. Having a Twin Peaks party tonight ;)

Have a great weekend everyone!

ESSENTIAL JACKET

Some days I feel like everything in my closet is wildly impractical. Silks and chiffons stain and wear out, tutus get caught in car doors, sequins are scratchy, sack dresses are cumbersome...it's nice to have a no bullshit super snug and sexy jacket now and then. This long and lean beauty by the Row is pretty perfect for just about everything.

I like the shape it gives to my Dries van Noten marbled slip dress....which I was going to snap a picture of on its own, but ended up accidentally snapping a video instead.  I put in this awesome little psych disco tune by Armand Frydman. I'm just figuring out YouTube now and recently discovered the magic powers of Download Helper last night. Hmm...maybe some day I'll start a music blog. I wish!

I need some jungle jewelry to go with my jungle music!! Love this bracelet I stole from Atlantis Vintage (shhh.)
