ATLANTIS UNDERGROUND-the peasant blouse (TO BE CONTINUED)

I do have something very exciting to share, and that is that my mom got one of her first designs for Atlantis Underground not too long ago and some stuff should be available for purchase soon.

Here is a preview of one of my favorite pieces-the peasant blouse. This will come in white, off-white, and black and with short-sleeve and long-sleeve variations.

Today I'm wearing the black long-sleeve variation-so in love with these dramatic sleeves.

(Since Friday I have been going through technology hell-my camera and my computer are screwing up, and then today my SD card corrupted and I lost most of the pictures I took. I apologize for the poor quality of these pictures and wish I had more detail shots of the blouse to show you-but you'll see those later. Sigh. It is so frustrating though. Really, I wish blogging did not involve computers.

So these pictures suck, but they're all I've got. I'll try to fish some out of my SD card again tomorrow, and if I can't I'll just re-shoot them. Or just shoot myself, haven't decided yet. JK. I'll be getting my computer back from the shop soon.)

You look like a princess with your gold headband and poufy shirt :D

Also, would it be ok if I added you to my blogroll?

Love the outfit, and except for the middle one they are awesome!

Maybe a little bit of a stretch, but the headband made me think of the Gaultier SS07 couture show. One of my favorite shows ever, might I add.

Adore the blouse and belt- they look wonderful on you ;) Absolutely love "insane" sleeves of any sort, such fun and especially lovely with a belt like the one you are wearing.

The headband is fabulous too- nicely done, love.

much love,

Great, almost-structural, blouse. I like your pleasingly literal tsarina interpretation!

Congrats on being referenced in Vogue!

You can be so proud of your mother !
Love the dark inspiration, like a romantic icone !

Jane, you made it into May's edition UK Vogue's 'Favourite Fashion Blogs'.

"That headband is so Anne Boleyn"--Brigadeiro

[SEE? ME AND BRIGADEIRO AGREE!]

YOU HAVE NOW BEEN CHARACTERIZED AS HENRY THE EIGHTH'S WIFE, WHICH MAKES YOU A QUEEN, AND A PRECOCIOUS JOYCE BROTHERS, PRACTICING NON-FOOTWEAR RELATED PSYCHIATRY, ALL FROM THE SAME POST.

"TOP THAT GARANCE DORE!"

II.

EXCERPT: "Christina Chan, your delusions of eloquence are...Champ", I suggest you think again."--Shortcake

DEAR SHORTCAKE, [I MEAN] MRJYN,

WHAT YOU LACK IN FLOUR AND STRAWBERRIES, YOU MORE THAN MAKE THAN UP IN NUTS.

AND WHY ARE YOU WRITING TO CHRISTINA CHAN? IS THAT YOUR NAME? BECAUSE IF IT IS, IT GOES AT THE END...OR WERE YOU EXPECTING CHRISTINA CHAN TO READ THIS? VERY CLEVER!

I LIKE WRITING AGE-BAITING COMMENTS AS MUCH AS THE NEXT GUY [YOU SHOULD READ MY COMMENTS TO THE LOCAL ALZHEIMER'S BLOG], BUT WHAT PART OF THE CAMERA STORY, EXACTLY, DID YOU FIND IN YOUR DSMV-IV?

[OKAY, THINK LIKE A CRAZY PERSON.]

FREUD DID MENTION SHOES, I RECALL, BUT ONLY RELATING TO DREAMS, AND NOT WEARING ANY; WHICH WOULD HAVE PROBABLY PISSED YOU OFF TOO.

NO I CAN'T FIGURE IT. YOU HAD ME AT "CHRISTINA CHAN," AND KEPT ME ALL THE WAY TO THE MOHAMED ALI REFERENCE.

ALTHOUGH FULLY-BAKED, YOUR COMMENT HAS DISTRACTED MY ENTIRE MORNING. THROW ME A BONE, SLUGGER?

BUT YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT ONE THING, JANE IS A LITTLE JUNG!

My gawd Jane, you look stunning! I am an avid reader but have never commented before, but I have to tell you (even though you undoubtedly already know) that despite the economy your mom's store is going to be a major success!

The blouse is so rude(:
I'm such a fan of your site, too.
But I wanted to tell you, if you didn't know already, that Matthew Williamson, my all time favorite designer (besides Betsey Johnson!) is teaming up with H&M for a collection! I am so excited because H&M is my go-to store for everything. Just thought I'd tell you(:

Great headband & belt!!!!

In the middle picture you look like an anime character, and by that I just mean that your eyes are incredibly too pretty to be real. I'd love to see the short sleeved variations of that shirt.

Track recently started for me, and with at least two meets every week (they make us wear all wear the same thing on these days) I only have 3 days a week to dress up!

Photo of Rebekka

Oh dear, I just love your belt and headband! Well... pretty much all of your belts.
The sleeves of that blouse are amazing. Really.

I thought you were doing something artistic. I would have never known about the bad picture, if you didn't mention it. They are great. love the blouse.

The blouse and headband make you look like a Pre-Raphaelite goddess! Fantastic.

Hiya Jane!
I'm so sorry to hear about your techno troubles... oh the demons hiding in those computers... I wish you a swift recovery from all that misfortune! I was also wondering when you would be posting about the availability of Atlantis Underground because that blouse is AMAZING!
Good luck with all your things (computer, bio tests...)!
And once again, thank you for sharing your incredible style with us!

This outfit is insane! Its got a really cute fantasy vibe about it that I'm loving. Adore your blog x

I covet those shoes! so cute!

Someone quick! Buy Jane a brand spanking new laptop and camera!!!11

I really hope no one begins to dress like you Jane. I would hate (hate hate) to see your special style dissolve into yet another 'indie trend.' I think we are relying on you to not let that happen hehehe

please please please please please keep up the awesome work. I come to this site not knowing what to expect, and each time i arrive, i am overwhelmed by the sheer energy and passion which you pour into your shoes and clothes (and also a twinge of envy (inevitable!)). I am especially in love with your latest pair of Margiela degradé cowboy boots. They Are Art. also tell your mom that her peasant blouse looks smashing, something so interesting it could qualify for runway stuff. (i am a poorly fashionista, hardly any kind of magazine editor. but i really like what i see. gorgeous texture!!)

also, the blue platform sandals are one of the most memorable to me. as are the A.D sexsome supertall boots.

march proudly on jane!
you make us keep our eyes peeled.

xx

That is actually an amazing statistical info amongst the individuals who are searching for it. Its very fairly practical as nicely as uncommon data supplied in web-sites. Wonderful perform.
