ohh if i'm not mistaken, it is a painting from Magritte, my favourite painter, his paintings are always so mysterious and disturbing :) love it

The first image, the "Empire of light" of Magritte is beautiful. It is so well done, that technique it seems easy. The difference between the "day" in the sky, and the night at house, it's reduced just for the tree's darker silhouttes.

I love so much this David Lynch movie...

theres a replica of that painting in my living room made by my grandmother. its feels like a window on a dark forest. i love it. my version has a lake infront of it though, i love the reflection of the house in it.

We learned about Empire of Light in art class-how exciting to see it on here!

I LIKE VERY MUCH YOUR BLOG,EXELLENT AND VERY ,VERY INTERESTING.....

What movie is that boy from?

I swear, i've seen that boy in my dreams. And not my nightmare, but a dream. I'm going to add this pic on my blog!
